Week 7
Our focus this week is to trace the progress of Edna's awakening which essentially begins and ends with the sea. Kate Chopin drew heavily on Walt Whitman's poetry as a source of many of the images and symbols used in her book.

I'm sorry, Mr. Dileo, but it looks like I'm going to have to bow out of the reading task, due to the fact that, on the night of the presentation, I'll be en route to my grandparents' house. I'm definately interested in doing this one of these times, however, so keep me posted!
